Wendy is admitted to the bars of the State of New Jersey, United States District Court for the District of New Jersey and the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. She understands the complex and emotional nature of divorce. She also appreciates that divorce impacts each client differently. Wendy’s understanding coupled with her experience and knowledge of the nuances of family law allows her to craft creative and personalized solutions to the numerous issues that may arise during a divorce.
Wendy’s practice is devoted exclusively to family law, and she appears regularly before the Family Part in Mercer, Hunterdon, Somerset, Burlington and Middlesex Counties. Wendy has also appeared and successfully argued matters before the Appellate Division of the Superior Court of New Jersey. She has handled appellate matters related to custody, relocation, and alimony issues.
Although Wendy believes that family law issues, especially custody and parenting time disputes, should be resolved amicably, she has ample experience litigating cases involving complex child custody and parenting time, as well as relocation. She is a zealous advocate for her clients in the courtroom but remains compassionate and sensitive to the importance of maintaining the best interests of the children throughout the litigation.
She has extensive experience in alternative dispute resolution. She is trained in and participates in collaborative law divorces. She is an active member of and has also served as President of the Mid-Jersey Collaborative Law Alliance.
Wendy is qualified as a mediator under New Jersey Court Rule 1:40. This training gives Wendy the knowledge and experience to help clients understand the core issues of their disputes and reach a reasonable resolution. She has also been trained pursuant to Court Rule 5:8D to be a Parenting Coordinator and is an approved member of the Statewide Roster of Approved Parenting Coordinators.
She also serves as a panelist for the Mercer County Matrimonial Early Settlement Program. The Matrimonial Early Settlement Program is a program used by the courts to help divorcing couples reach an agreement on the economic terms of their divorce instead of going to trial. Panelists are selected by the Presiding Judge of the Family Part in each county and make recommendations on how equitable distribution, child support and alimony should be resolved after reviewing the facts presented in each case. Panelists must be experienced family law attorneys.
Wendy regularly volunteers at the Younity (formerly WomanSpace) legal clinic. Younity is a nonprofit agency in Mercer County, New Jersey that that provides a comprehensive array of services to victims of domestic violence. Wendy counsels victims of domestic violence on the options available to them and helps them prepare for litigation and to obtain Final Restraining Orders.
She is also a founder and current President of the Women’s Divorce Alliance which aims to engage, educate and empower women going through divorce and assist them to better navigate the process. The Women’s Divorce Alliance also helps connect women to skilled female professionals who may be needed throughout the divorce process such as therapists and accountants.
Wendy was selected for inclusion as a New Jersey “Super Lawyer” by the New Jersey Super Lawyer Magazine between 2010 and 2012. Wendy graduated with honors from Temple University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary Education and graduated with honors from Rutgers University School of Law-Camden in 1992. Immediately after graduating from law school, Wendy served as a judicial law clerk for the Honorable Martin Herman in the Superior Court of New Jersey, Family Division, Gloucester County. After her clerkship, she obtained employment as an associate with the law firm of Angelini Viniar & Freedman in Woodbury, New Jersey. Wendy remained there for five years practicing family and municipal law.
In 1999, Wendy Rosen joined the family law department at Fox Rothschild where she ultimately met and worked with Barbara Ulrichsen and Derek Freed. Wendy was made a partner at Fox Rothschild in 2006. In June 2006, Barbara, Wendy, and Derek left Fox Rothschild to form Ulrichsen Rosen & Freed LLC. In January 2025, Ulrichsen Rosen & Freed LLC merged with Seiden Family Law LLC to form SeidenFreed LLC where Wendy is a founding partner.
Wendy resides in Bucks County, Pennsylvania with her husband. They have two sons. Her outside interests include spending time with her family, reading books and going to the gym.
